Commission software for HubSpot, built for UK sales teams

Commit connects to HubSpot with read-only access, picks up your deals as they change, and calculates each rep's commission against your plan: tiers, accelerators, splits and clawbacks. Managers approve, reps see exactly how their number was built, and approved commission is exported to Xero Payroll. £25 per user per month, with a 14-day free trial.

How it works

  1. Connect HubSpot

Sign in to HubSpot from Commit and approve read-only access. It works with HubSpot portals in the EU and US data centres.

  2. Choose which deals count

Filter by pipeline, deal stage, owner, team and deal type, so only the deals your plan pays on reach the calculation.

  3. Commission calculates as deals change

Deal updates arrive through HubSpot webhooks, with a full sync every 30 minutes as a backstop. Tiers, accelerators, splits and clawbacks are applied automatically, and each rep sees their number update.

  4. Approve and pay

Managers approve with the calculation in front of them, then export approved commission as a Xero UK Payroll import file (one line per employee) or as Accounts Payable bills.

What Commit reads from HubSpot

DealsAmount, stage, pipeline, close date, deal type and owner
OwnersSo each deal is credited to the right rep
Companies and contactsRead for context on the deal; never changed
Portal currencyPicked up when you connect, so amounts are read correctly

Access is read-only, and Commit never writes back to HubSpot. Connection tokens are encrypted at rest, and if HubSpot access is revoked or expires, your admins are alerted so the sync doesn't silently stop.

Why not a spreadsheet off a HubSpot export?

An export is out of date the moment a deal changes, and the formulas that apply tiers, splits and clawbacks live in one person's workbook. That's where commission errors and reps' shadow spreadsheets come from. See the true cost of the spreadsheet, or try the commission calculator on your own numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Does Commit change anything in HubSpot?

No. Commit asks HubSpot for read-only access (deals, deal properties, owners, companies and contacts) and has no permission to write. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your portal.

How quickly do HubSpot deal changes reach Commit?

Changes arrive through HubSpot webhooks as they happen, and Commit also runs a full sync every 30 minutes as a backstop, so a missed webhook is picked up within half an hour.

Does it work with an EU-hosted HubSpot portal?

Yes. Commit connects to HubSpot portals in both the EU and US data centres.

Can I choose which HubSpot deals earn commission?

Yes. You can filter by pipeline, deal stage, owner, team and deal type, and choose whether open and closed deals sync. By default every pipeline and stage syncs until you narrow it.

How does commission get from Commit into payroll?

Approved commission is exported in Xero's own formats: a Xero UK Payroll import file with one line per employee, or Accounts Payable bills. Every export is logged in the audit trail and a commission can't be exported twice.

What does it cost?
